Importing from Agent Locator

Importing from Agent Locator

~2 min read

Agent Locator imports through a CSV export. Closr does not have a brand-specific detector or an API connector for Agent Locator, so it reads your file through the generic column-mapping engine. You still get the preview, the dedupe, and the same result.

Steps

  1. 1In Agent Locator, export your contacts to a CSV.
  2. 2In Closr, drag the CSV into chat (or use the paperclip).
  3. 3Closr reads the headers and maps the ones it recognizes. The preview shows the format as 'CSV'.
  4. 4Check the column mapping in the preview, fix anything that looks off, then click Import.

What comes over

The fields in the CSV: names, emails, phones, source, tags, notes, and address where present. Email and call history stay in Agent Locator. They are not in the export file.

Because there is no brand detector for Agent Locator, give the column mapping in the preview a closer look than you would for a recognized CRM. If a column you care about did not map, rename its header to something plain (Email, Phone, Notes) and re-drop the file.
