Bringing your book into Closr

Bringing your book into Closr

~3 min read

Bring your entire book over without any column mapping. Closr reads FollowUpBoss, Lofty, KW Command, Chime, kvCORE, Google Contacts, Salesforce, HubSpot, anything with reasonable headers. The chat shows you a preview before any contact gets written, so you can bail if something looks off.

Importing a CSV

  1. 1Export contacts from your current CRM as a CSV.
  2. 2Open Brief and drag the CSV into chat (or paperclip-pick it).
  3. 3Closr previews: the format it detected (e.g. 'Follow Up Boss'), row count, how many are new vs duplicates of existing contacts, which columns mapped to which fields.
  4. 4Click 'Import all N new' to write, or 'Cancel' if anything looks wrong.

Finding contacts later

The Contacts page is here for browsing, but the faster way to find someone is to ask. 'Show me all my buyers', 'pull up Sarah Jenkins', 'find contacts I haven't touched in 30 days' all work. Cody does fuzzy matching and surface counts, beats scrolling through a list.

Inbound emails from real humans auto-create contacts. Bulk/promotional senders (no-reply, mailing-list domains, marketing platforms) are filtered out, your CRM stays clean.
